Many people today suffer psychological scars from difficult childhood days, and carry these scars with them throughout their lives. These scars can affect the way a person behaves and performs throughout his life.

As a consequence of such treatment many children carry poor impressions of themselves into their adult lives, and it is a sad tragedy that so many people suffer as a result of this treatment for the rest of their lives. Many people carry fears, anger and aggression into their world as adults, and this negatively affects their future families and working life.

Not only that, but as a result of these bad experiences, they don’t have adequate self-confidence and self-worth to make good choices in their lives. This applies to such things as choice of career, choice of lifestyle, choice of friends, choice of partners, and also how they behave in a responsible manner in society each day.

This book examines the possible reasons how this comes about and how we can try to remedy this to make a better life for our children from the day they are born, through their childhood days, and into their adult lives.

The effect of criticism, rejection and disrespect in the daily upbringing of our children, rather than giving love, acknowledgement, respect and encouragement, is a core component of suffering by many a child in today’s world. This not only applies to childhood but also through the teenage, adult and business years of a person.
